DON’T WAIT UNTIL IT’S TOO LATE

Winterizing your outboard is critical in cold weather.

Prevent damage to your outboard engine by properly prepping and storing for the cold winter season.

Not all outboards are the same, so be sure to consult your owners’ manual to ensure you have a checklist of engine parts that need to be winterized. Some important items to consider:

  • Changing oil and engine filters
  • Adding fuel stabilizer to fuel tank
  • Replacing gearcase lubricants
  • Inspecting water pump impeller
